The game logo and the publisher’s logo appear at appropriate sizes and the space between is filled with a nice and colorful design which is similar enough to the front cover art to tie in nicely without being identical. The cart is a USA release (LA-H-AWLDA-USA), and looks to be tastefully laid out. This has neither and frankly looks unfinished. It is great when a game has reversible cover art or a unique inside design, and at least a flat color is nice. On the left side is a text copy of 505 Games’ (the publisher’s) limited warranty.

There is no art, only a plain white background. The Inside of the case is disappointing, in my opinion.

Regulatory information at the bottom, however, seems to be a little haphazardly placed and there is some awkward white space above the copyright information and the developer’s and publisher’s logos. The game description feels a little choppy, but it gets the job done and the images look fine. The back cover is okay, if a little shoddily laid out. The front cover art looks great, as we all knew from the other releases, and though the art is the same, this cover is, in fact, specific to the NA release because it has the ESRB rating in the corner. The game is available now at Amazon and Best Buy, but oddly is still listed as out of stock or releasing on Decemat other retailers (GameStop, Walmart, Target, etc.) This is not in any way a review of the game itself, but only of the North American physical release. Well, Friends, the day is finally here! Due to shipping shenanigans, I got the cart a day late, but I still have the game in hand and am happy to share with you what I know. This was great news because if you can remember, the original release date was meant to be June 25 in Europe and “in the days following” in North America, but June came and went without the North American release and no news came for months. About a month ago, I posted a screenshot of an email from Best Buy that said the release date for the Nintendo Switch physical edition of Journey to the Savage Planet had been changed to November 17, 2020.
